Norcross, headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, and majority owned by Odyssey Investment Partners, provides a number of protection and safety devices for firefighters, utility employees, and general industrial workers. The deal is subject to standard closing requirements, such as regulatory approval. Norcross will become a member of Honeywell Life Protection, which is part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Systems (ACS) division. In 2007, Norcross’ sales were estimated to be about $609 million.
